About 'Make Time'
Since I was young I used to draw the ‘Make Time’ clock as a reminder for when the clocks changed in spring and autumn. So it was always a cartoon character in my imagination. When I came up with the concept of ‘Make Time’ in October 2016 I knew exactly what needed to be on the logo.
I'm a qualified primary teacher and I have worked with children in schools but it wasn’t until I became a parent that my creativity emerged through enjoying art and craft with my daughter. I started to take our projects along to a Parent and Toddler group we attended, to share with others. I loved seeing the children get a sense of achievement and enjoyment from making things.
This encouraged me to set up ‘Make Time’ initially offering classes to the public for parents and toddlers. Since then, growth areas have been in events, parties and sessions for nurseries.
Whether you are a parent planning a fun art & craft party or a business, planning a family event and needing activities, Make Time will provide all the inspiration and organise all the arts and crafts, set it up and clear it all away so that you can enjoy a hassle-free experience. I have a DBS certificate, a paediatric First Aid certificate and public liability insurance.
Thanks for your interest in ‘Make Time’.
