Your #1 Health Enemy is The 'NEW' American Diet
The facts prove it beyond a shadow of ANY doubt. You didn't evolve eating today's American diet, and you certainly don't have time to "RE-evolve!" Everything on this page is discussed in more detail in my home study course:
"Why The World Is 'Slender Savvy' But America Isn't" To begin with, the average American diet of today is killing more than two times the number of man killed in the first World War, World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam combined, EVERY YEAR!! Within the last couple of years, the number of overweight Americans has increased thirty percent, and this happened while we were cutting the FAT from our diets! As you read this, think logically. Plain logic will tell you that the no-fat, low-fat craze is not working and it never will. Of course there is some degree of success in lowering the overall intake of protein, fat or carbohydrate, but as you know, it is only temporary. Plain logic tells you that you are being deceived by the food industry. You can investigate more of this information through the research about HCG Drops and Diet from Glenn Institute. IT SEEMS LOGICAL Whatever sells is what will be advertised to be good for your health, and no-fat/low-fat sells. Yes, it seems logical that if we are becoming clogged with fat deposits in our bodies, that lowering our fat intake would fix the problem, but as you'll soon see through plain logic, it doesn't. Do you believe in genetics? Of course, you do because it is all around you. You studied in school how different early man was than we are. We're all familiar with the fact that man was VERY different hundreds of thousands of years ago. Consider the overall picture of humanity from the beginning. It is safe to say that we have reliable data from the remains of the early man that go back as far as seven hundred thousand years. This data is invaluable to your health! AGRICULTURE IS TOO NEW! It was a mere eight thousand years ago that man "discovered" agriculture. This was wonderful because, for the first time in history, a man could pretty much depend on having something to eat because he could grow it. The problem was that because of the genetics produced by seven hundred thousand years of a diet made up of predominately protein (meat), this thing called agriculture was going to wreak havoc with the health of humanity for centuries to come because of the high carbohydrates. The fact is, it still does today. In evolution, eight thousand years is only the snap of your fingers. YOU CANNOT DENY THIS DATA Throughout the seven hundred millenniums before the discovery of agriculture, man lived on meat, a few roots, berries, nuts, and the like. For this entire span of time man was what we now call a "hunter-gatherer". In every specimen analyzed to date, the results show the "hunter-gatherer" to have been healthy. Their bones were well developed and strong, and their teeth were perfect throughout their lives. This is valuable data that cannot be denied. In fact, in today's laboratory analysis of ancient man, the laboratory technicians can always tell by the condition of the bones and teeth, whether the specimen was a "hunter-gatherer", or an "agriculturist". In other words, they can tell what their diet was by the condition of the specimen! The absolute perfect example is the ancient Egyptians. WHAT THE MUMMIES REVEAL The ancient Egyptians left us a tremendous amount of concrete evidence to study. In fact, it is estimated there may be as many mummies available for study as the entire population of Egypt today. Also, every social and economic level of their society was preserved in this way, so we have a very reliable source of information to study. Every detail of their lives has been analyzed, and we have a three thousand year picture of what their diet and health was. We know they farmed the fertile Nile river area and grew wheat and barley like no civilization before. They consumed what we would call the perfect diet. They had mainly bread, cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and poultry, practically no red meat, olive oil (no lard), and goats milk to drink and make into cheese. By our standards, they had the perfect diet, and should have been the picture of health, however, THE EVIDENCE PROVES The archaeological evidence proves they suffered from the same diseases we do today. They had teeth so bad they were worn down to the soft pulp before cavities could even set in. They also had very bad abscesses in their teeth. Their bones were brittle and weak. They were far from the picture of health you would expect. Their arteries were clogged just as ours are today, and even their written records (the best-written records left behind by any civilization), reflect that heart attacks were common. The slender pictures you've seen of the Egyptians are much like what we will leave behind, the pictures of our best. They apparently did just that because the study of the mummies reveals that they were as obese as we are. Yes, all the evidence shows they, and all agriculturist civilizations in history, have suffered from the same diseases we do today. SEVEN HUNDRED MILLENNIUMS OF GENETIC DEVELOPMENT CAN'T BE DENIED I am not saying that agriculture is the worst thing to ever happen to humanity. Without it, a man may not even be here today because this was the first dependable food supply ever known, and still is. What I'm telling is that we have progressed so quickly by comparison in the last centuries that we have lost attention for the condition that we aren't meant genetically to consume a diet high in carbohydrates, and that is what we are doing. When we consume a diet high in protein, and low in carbohydrates, we become slender and healthy, just as our hunter-gatherer ancestors were. After all, we were set up genetically by seven hundred millenniums of evolution, and we're not going to change that for thousands of generations. The last eight thousand short years (by comparison), has been nothing short of devastating to the health of man. What has this thing called agriculture added to our diet that has been so devastating?… In a word, CARBOHYDRATES. As you read this, take it to heart. I haven't gotten away from plain and simple logic yet, and I won't either. I concede that it does seem logical that if fat deposits are clogging us, we should cut the fat from our diets, but let's put logic to the problem. If you do the math, you see that humankind has been on a high protein diet for over ninety-eight percent of his existence. THE LAST EIGHT THOUSAND YEARS ARE ONLY TWO PERCENT OF THE OVERALL EXISTENCE OF HUMANITY This is nothing compared to the time it takes for genetic changes to take place. It is well known that man was VERY healthy before agriculture and has been very unhealthy since. So what on earth are carbohydrates doing to us? Pay attention because you're about to learn how to be healthy for the rest of your life. WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF CARBOHYDRATES? Carbohydrates directly affect your metabolic hormones. Insulin, and glucagon, to be specific. Carbohydrates, because they turn to sugar, cause you to secrete more insulin to keep your blood sugar level in control. Years of a high carbohydrate intake means you constantly have a high level of insulin. You develop a resistance to insulin which requires your pancreas to secrete even more insulin to keep your blood sugar in control. Some people finally get to the point that their pancreas can't secrete as much insulin as their body needs, and that person develops diabetes, needing even more insulin through injections to keep blood sugar levels in control. HERE'S HOW INSULIN AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH Insulin does more than just keep your blood sugar in check, it is responsible for controlling your storage of fat, it regulates your liver's production of cholesterol, it is a growth hormone, it works to control your appetite, it makes your kidneys retain fluid, and much much, SO MUCH more. Without insulin, you would die very quickly. However, insulin also delivers as many health problems as it does solutions. It must be in the right amounts in your body, or it will wreak havoc, and too many carbohydrates in the diet will cause high levels of insulin in your system. More proof is showing up daily in the medical profession that high levels of insulin are responsible for high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity (obesity means twenty percent or more above ideal body weight). It can even affect your memory recall capability and concentration! This is not speculation, but cold hard facts proven by research. "HYPERINSULINEMIA"?... Virtually every case of obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, is accompanied by a high level of insulin. This condition is referred to as "hyperinsulinemia", or an ongoing high level of insulin. The common remedy for obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, is to lower insulin levels. This is done with a diet because it is the only way it can be done. Treating these conditions with medication is only treating the symptoms and not the problem. Through diet, you can get rid of the problem, and your good health returns permanently. A low CARBOHYDRATE diet works WITH your genetics (which were developed by seven hundred millenniums of evolution), to naturally lower insulin levels in your body to a normal level. This corrects problems of obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Glucagon, on the other hand, works to keep your blood sugar from becoming too low. It is the opposite of insulin. With the high carbohydrate diet of people today, all the workload is going to insulin, and the function of glucagon to keep the blood sugar from falling too low seldom comes into play. Deficient intake of carbohydrates (like our ancestors had) will allow your insulin and glucagon hormones to work together naturally, and in the proper balance for good health. WHAT THIS MEANS TO YOUR HEALTH IN A NUTSHELL Basically, you are not meant to eat carbohydrates, and it will take ten thousand generations for genetics to change that fact. For optimum health, we should have a diet high in protein. This goes against everything you've been exposed to by the so-called food industry and the media. Your good health is not the point of their reports, making money is, so you are being deceived. Is there any other reason for food labels to be SO misleading? In your search for an acceptable method of health and weight control you have tried some pretty ridiculous ideas, everyone has, including me! But when I learned how easy it is to conform to my genetics, the problems of weight control, health, energy, and fitness have disappeared for me, and they will work for you too! |
